Knowledge Base Item Schema

Knowledge Base Item Schema

To track historical codebase knowledge patterns securely, the documentation architecture stores curated developer files called Knowledge Items (KIs). Asterisk 2 structures snapshot files and metadata objects to streamline integration workflows.

Curated Item Storage Topology

The layout below maps out how raw developer notes break down into distinct metadata file networks:

Architectural Schema Blueprint

1. Physical Snapshot Organization

Each dedicated topic repository maps to custom folder bounds containing strict structured configurations:

  • metadata.json: Primary identification descriptor storing multi-line summaries, origin references, and update modification tracking timestamps.
  • artifacts/: Sub-directory arrays storing exact implementation plans, task outlines, and code snippets natively.

2. Operational Integration Directives

Prior to executing autonomous code workflows, background controllers scan existing metadata.json summaries automatically. If a record title matches requested user features, the system loads linked implementation artifacts directly, completely avoiding redundant platform research.
